The Von Doren Runde Tiger’s Eye brings a warm, golden personality to the classic 39mm Runde case.
Its yellow sunburst dial changes continually according to the light around it, moving from softer golden tones indoors to a much brighter, more energetic appearance in direct sunlight. A matching yellow leather strap carries that warmth beyond the dial and gives this version a particularly distinctive identity.
Inside is the dependable Swiss Ronda 1069 quartz movement, chosen for accuracy, reliability and minimal maintenance. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres, while Swiss Super-LumiNova® C1 provides visibility after dark.
Turn the watch over and the familiar Runde story appears again: a caseback engraved in the style of a ducat from the Runde Treasure, recalling the gold and silver lost aboard the Dutch merchant ship Akerendam off Norway in 1725.
