Global launch of the RALF TECH THE BEAST Black Amphibian!

Finally, the much-anticipated new THE BEAST “BLACK AMPHIBIAN” is here! This remarkable timepiece comes straight from the imagination of US NAVY diver Jeff Scott, resulting from a collaboration between Amphibian and Ralf Tech.
The Essence of Amphibians
The term "amphibian" comes from the Greek words “amphi,” meaning double, and “bios,” meaning life. Amphibians thrive in both aquatic and terrestrial environments. They undergo a metamorphosis from aquatic larvae to terrestrial adults. Interestingly, this transformation can be reversed. Adult amphibians often return to the water, showcasing their adaptability.
As humans, we also spent nine months in a liquid environment before taking our first breath. Throughout our lives, we may find ourselves returning to the water, but we always emerge again. In essence, we are all amphibians.
A Story of Design and Innovation
Designed by RALF TECH and customized by Jeff Scott of DEEPSEA MGZN, the “Amphibian” series tells the story of our lives. This new model from THE BEAST family is a true compendium of French technology and craftsmanship.
The dial of this new BEAST features the inscription “AMPHIBIAN,” accompanied by a logo designed specifically for this watch. This logo depicts a wave with a trident, symbolizing Neptune and Poseidon, the mythical masters of the waters. It serves as a reminder of the origins of scuba diving and the DNA of RALF TECH.
On the case back, an engraving of an octopus with a trident recalls the first “Amphibian” model. Though scientifically classified as a mollusc, the octopus generally inhabits depths of up to 100 meters in our seas. Remarkably intelligent, it can also venture out of the water, much like amphibians at birth.
Unchanged Design and Optimum Performance
This new THE BEAST retains the aesthetic codes of the other THE BEAST Electric models. One of its most notable achievements is maintaining a thickness of just 17mm, a record considering the pressure resistance it offers. From conception to market launch, every detail has been meticulously planned to ensure that THE BEAST, with its reasonable dimensions (47.7mm diameter), is suitable for everyday use by professional divers and connoisseurs of fine watchmaking.
The professional “Diamond Shape” rotating bezel is another highlight. Unidirectional and graduated over 60 minutes, it rotates in 120 clicks, providing exceptionally accurate timekeeping. This bezel features a matte ceramic insert, making it resistant to scratches and rough treatment, which is often encountered in real-life underwater working conditions.
Moreover, the bezel's shape, designed in collaboration with professional divers, ensures a perfect grip in all usage conditions. This design enhances safety for divers, allowing them to read dive and decompression times with precision.

At 47.7mm and with over 3000 meters of water resistance, THE BEAST is not your average professional diver's watch. Its robust construction can withstand anything thrown at it, making it a perfect companion for those who dare to explore the depths.
An Exclusive Sealing System
Like its predecessors, the new THE BEAST Electric Black “AMPHIBIAN” features a “box bottom” with an integral “encapsulation” system. This innovative system, introduced in 2019 on the WRX, is seamlessly integrated into the back of THE BEAST. It seals the watch's back to the case, ensuring optimum water resistance.
This system also eliminates the need for a helium valve for saturation dives, which can weaken the case. Only RALF TECH possesses the specialized tools required to open and close the back of this model, ensuring that the original water resistance is maintained, overhaul after overhaul.
An Innovative Movement
Developed in Switzerland for our company, the RTE001 movement incorporates a micro-hybridization system. This system combines precision, reliability, and energy efficiency. Built on the mechaquartz base of the hybrid movement used in the first generations of WRXs, the RTE001 movement reduces the number of moving parts and simplifies quartz power supply.
It can operate for up to 100,000 hours, or nearly 12 years, while most movements offer a power reserve of only 40 hours for automatics and around 2 years for traditional quartz.
