In 2026, DWISS celebrates its 15th anniversary with two special editions of what is arguably its most ambitious creation to date: the S1 Wandering Hours.

A Different Way to Read Time

The wandering hours display is one of the most fascinating and poetic methods of telling time.

Instead of traditional hands moving around a fixed dial, the S1 uses two satellite discs rotating beneath the upper dial. Each disc carries hour numerals that travel across a curved minute scale, creating a display inspired by the orbit of the Moon around the Earth.

As the active hour moves along the minute arc, the wearer reads the time in a way that feels more mechanical, more theatrical, and more alive than a conventional dial.

It turns a simple glance at the wrist into a small moment of movement.

That is where the S1 finds its magic.

Swiss Engineering Beneath the Display

Behind this unusual display is a modified Swiss La Joux-Perret G100 automatic calibre, offering an impressive 68-hour power reserve.

That matters because the S1 is not unusual simply for the sake of being unusual. Its creativity is supported by serious Swiss mechanical engineering, giving the watch both horological credibility and everyday usability.

The result is a timepiece that feels experimental without becoming impractical — exactly the kind of balance independent watchmaking should aim for.

Two Anniversary Editions

For its 15th anniversary, DWISS introduces two new interpretations of the S1 Wandering Hours.

The first features a vibrant orange dial with a saturated radial gradient. It is bold, energetic and immediately recognisable — a dial that captures light with real intensity and gives the watch a powerful visual presence.

The second takes a more restrained approach, combining a silver-toned metal dial with circular brushing and blue numerals. Where the orange edition feels expressive and extroverted, the silver edition feels precise, refined and quietly elegant.

Built with Purpose

Both anniversary models share the same Swiss Made cushion-shaped stainless steel case, finished with sandblasted surfaces and brushed lugs.

The watches are fitted with a DELUGS CTS FKM rubber strap and a 316L stainless steel deployant buckle, giving the S1 a modern, comfortable and practical feel on the wrist.

Each model is priced at CHF 2,300.

Limited to 50 Pieces Each

Collectors responded quickly to the S1 when it was launched earlier this year. The first numbered piece sold at auction for 30% above retail price — a strong indication of the interest surrounding this unusual display.

For the 15th anniversary editions, DWISS continues its established approach to limited production.

Each version is limited to just 50 pieces and will not be produced again.

That has been part of the DWISS philosophy since 2011: create distinctive watches, keep them rare, and allow each design to stand as a specific moment in the brand’s evolution.

It is an approach that has helped DWISS earn 34 international design awards, including three iF Design Awards.
