Inspired by the clear skies and calm sea of a quiet Norwegian summer day, the Von Doren Runde Pale Blue combines a light-blue sunburst dial with a matching leather strap for a fresh, relaxed character.
The sunburst finish changes subtly as the light moves across it, sometimes appearing cool and restrained, at other times brighter and more luminous.
At 39mm, the stainless-steel case remains compact and beautifully balanced. Inside is the dependable Swiss Ronda 1069 quartz movement, offering excellent accuracy with very little need for attention. Swiss Super-LumiNova® C1 provides visibility after dark, while water resistance is rated to 50 metres.
Turn the watch over and the Runde story continues with a caseback engraved in the style of a ducat from the Runde Treasure, recalling the gold and silver lost aboard the Akerendam off Norway in 1725.
