There is something appropriately rebellious about putting a Jolly Roger on one of RALF TECH's most serious professional diving instruments.
The WRX Electric Black Pirates Shadow takes the formidable Black Operator architecture and gives it a darker, more individual personality.
A 47.5mm sandblasted black-PVD steel case surrounds a charcoal-grey dial carrying a subtle black Jolly Roger. It is deliberately tone-on-tone: visible enough to give the watch character, restrained enough not to turn it into a novelty.
The engineering remains uncompromising. A 5.9mm curved sapphire crystal, protected screw-down crown, encapsulated caseback and matte-black Ceramfine® bezel contribute to 1,000 metres / 3,300 feet of water resistance.
Inside is the RTE001 Long Range Electric Micro Hybrid movement, developed in Switzerland for RALF TECH and capable of up to 100,000 hours — almost twelve years — of autonomy.
Black silicone and Zulu straps are supplied, with production restricted to 100 pieces per year.
Why buy it?
Because the Pirates Shadow has all the capability of a serious WRX, but considerably more attitude.
The Jolly Roger doesn't dominate the design. You notice it gradually — almost hiding within the charcoal dial.
