The STROND SARSEN Automatic is not simply inspired by Stonehenge.

It carries the same material at its heart.

Its dial is cut from genuine Sarsen stone, the same type of stone used to form the outer ring of Stonehenge — one of the most recognisable ancient monuments in the world. Sourced from West Woods in Wiltshire, around 20 miles from Stonehenge, this stone gives the watch a direct connection to British landscape, mystery and deep history.

That is what makes the SARSEN special.

Not just the design.

The material.

The watch carries something ancient, natural and unrepeatable on the wrist. Because the dial is made from real stone, each piece has its own texture and character, making every watch subtly different.

This is not a watch pretending to have a story.

It has one.

Design & Character

The SARSEN combines natural material with strong metallic contrast.

The gunmetal 316L stainless steel case gives the watch a darker, more contemporary personality, while the antique steel bezel and crown top add depth, warmth and a sense of aged detail. Both the bezel and crown top are engraved with Celtic knotwork, reinforcing the watch’s connection to ancient British symbolism.

The stone dial is the centre of the design. It feels organic, textured and quietly powerful — a surface shaped by nature rather than manufactured uniformity.

At 40mm, the case offers strong everyday wearability, while the 48mm lug-to-lug gives it confident presence without becoming excessive.

This is a watch that feels solid, historic and personal.

Modern in construction.

Ancient in spirit.

Mechanical Performance

Inside the SARSEN Automatic is the Miyota 9039 premium automatic movement, a 24-jewel Japanese calibre known for reliability, slimness and practical everyday performance.

Running at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a smooth seconds hand, hand-winding capability and hacking seconds for precise time setting. With around 40 hours of power reserve, it is a dependable automatic movement suited to regular wear.

The use of the Miyota 9039 is particularly appropriate here. It keeps the dial clean and balanced, allowing the Sarsen stone to remain the focus of the watch without interruption from a date window.

The SARSEN is therefore more than a historical concept.

It is a proper automatic watch, built to be worn and enjoyed.

The Sincrono Perspective

At Sincrono Luxury, we are drawn to watches that have a reason to exist beyond the usual language of case, dial and movement.

The STROND SARSEN Automatic has one of the strongest reasons we have seen.

Its appeal is not based on decoration alone. The dial is not printed to look like stone. It is stone. And not just any stone, but Sarsen stone connected to the landscape and mythology of Stonehenge.

That changes the emotional weight of the watch.

You are not just wearing a mechanical timepiece.

You are wearing a fragment of British history, shaped into something contemporary, useful and deeply unusual.

The gunmetal case gives it modern strength.

The antique steel bezel gives it character.

The Celtic knot engraving gives it symbolism.

The Miyota 9039 gives it reliable mechanical life.

But the dial is what makes it unforgettable.

This is the kind of independent watch that reminds us why small brands matter. They are willing to create objects with story, risk and personality — watches that would probably never come from a large mainstream manufacturer.

For collectors who want something distinctive, meaningful and genuinely connected to place, the STROND SARSEN Automatic is a watch worth discovering.

That is why it belongs in the Sincrono collection.
