RALF TECH Academie Automatic Veteran 41mm
Military watches are at their best when they remember the instrument rather than imitate the uniform.
The Académie Veteran takes RALF TECH's classically proportioned 41mm case and gives it a dial inspired by the watches worn by RAF pilots during the Second World War. The result is sober, highly legible and deliberately free of unnecessary decoration.
The satin-finished 316L steel case surrounds a 95% matte-black dial, with Old Radium Super-LumiNova® bringing warmth to the hands and markers. Above it sits the Académie's distinctive 2.5mm glassbox sapphire, giving the watch a subtle period character without pretending to be an antique.
A vintage hand-sewn “Navy” strap reinforces the military influence, while a black Tropic silicone strap is also supplied for more active use.
Inside is RALF TECH's RTA003 automatic movement, offering up to 40 hours of power reserve. A screw-down crown and caseback deliver an impressive 200 metres of water resistance — considerably more capability than its vintage appearance suggests.
Only 100 pieces will be produced.

The matte black dial, aged-tone lume and satin steel give it the atmosphere of an old military watch, but the sapphire crystal, automatic movement and 200-metre water resistance belong firmly to the present.
