The Azazel_I GMT takes MAKINA’s unmistakable industrial design language and gives it a new purpose: movement between places, cities and time zones.
Its sculptural 40mm sandblasted stainless-steel case has the raw, almost architectural character that defines Azazel, surrounding a deeply layered dial where the GMT function becomes part of the design itself. Rather than using a conventional fourth hand, MAKINA places a rotating GMT disc at the centre. A circular aperture indicates the second time zone against the underlying 24-hour scale, while changing between orange for daylight and white for night.
The result is immediately recognisable as MAKINA — bold geometry, texture, depth and a complication expressed in an entirely individual way.
Inside, the Miyota 9075 true GMT automatic movement allows the local hour hand to be adjusted independently, making the watch genuinely useful when travelling. A 120-click unidirectional bezel, domed sapphire crystal and 200 metres of water resistance give Azazel_I GMT the substance to accompany its striking design.
