Every watch company has a first watch. Very few collectors get the opportunity to own one while the story is still being written.
The Foreman 45 Founding Edition is exactly that: the opening chapter of Foundry Watch Co., a young British independent whose identity comes directly from the worlds of construction, engineering and infrastructure.
The name Foreman is deliberate. It speaks to the person who turns plans into reality — someone trusted to understand the job, take responsibility and make sure the work gets done. That same sense of purpose runs through the watch: strong, substantial and designed with an industrial character that feels entirely appropriate to the Foundry name.
At its heart is dependable quartz timekeeping, chosen within a watch whose appeal is less about complication and more about solidity, design, materials and the feeling of an object made to be worn and lived with.
Most importantly, only the first 50 Foreman 45 watches will carry Founding Edition status. These represent the first 50 production watches in Foundry Watch Co.’s history. After them, the Foreman 45 continues — but the Founding Edition does not.
