FWB HansaViertel #1 Blau Auto 40.5mm

£650.00Price

FineWatchesBerlin HansaViertel Collection

Berlin has always had a particular talent for turning restraint into character.

The FineWatchesBerlin HansaViertel collection takes its inspiration from one of the city's most distinctive architectural quarters — a place shaped by clarity, geometry, colour and the optimism of modern design.

Those ideas translate beautifully onto the wrist.

The clean 40.5mm case and disciplined dial architecture are unmistakably Bauhaus-influenced, yet the HansaViertel is anything but anonymous. Applied numerals and indices, flashes of colour, blue decorative screws and a beautifully considered date display at 6 o'clock give the watch a personality that reveals itself gradually.

Inside beats a modified Miyota 8315 automatic movement, offering an impressive 60-hour power reserve. The personalised rotor and blued movement screws remain visible through the sapphire exhibition case back, adding mechanical detail to the deliberately clean exterior.

And unlike the more restrained Teufelsberg, HansaViertel embraces colour wholeheartedly. Blue #1, Orange #2, Green #3, Yellow #4 and Black #5 each interpret the same architecture differently — from vivid and playful to understated and almost formal.

Designed in Berlin and Made in Germany in Ruhla, the HansaViertel feels contemporary without abandoning the principles that inspired it.

Why buy it?

Because simplicity should never mean predictability.

The HansaViertel combines disciplined German design with enough colour and detail to give every version a personality of its own.

You also get serious everyday substance: sapphire crystal front and back, 100 metres of water resistance, a 60-hour automatic movement and handcrafted leather complemented by a second water-resistant strap.

But perhaps the greatest appeal is its balance.

Modern enough to feel fresh, architectural enough to feel timeless, and colourful enough to remind you that Bauhaus never had to be boring.
