RALF TECH Academie Automatic Royale 41mm
Navy blue has always had a certain authority. The Royale adds just enough warmth to make it charming too.
Inspired by French naval aviation, the Académie Royale combines a deep lacquered navy-blue dial with a polished 41mm steel case and the beautifully rounded proportions of RALF TECH's most classical collection.
Old Radium Super-LumiNova® softens the steel hands and indices, while the vintage gold calfskin strap gives the watch an almost sun-aged quality. Above it sits the distinctive 2.5mm glassbox sapphire that gives the Académie much of its mid-century character.
Underneath, however, this remains unmistakably RALF TECH.
The automatic RTA003 movement provides up to 40 hours of power reserve, while a screw-down crown and caseback deliver an impressive 200 metres of water resistance. A black Tropic silicone strap is also supplied for more active days.
Only 100 pieces will be produced.
Why buy it?
Because blue and steel rarely look this good together.
The lacquered dial gives the Royale depth, while the vintage-toned lume and gold-coloured leather prevent it from becoming cold or overly formal.
It has naval inspiration without looking like military equipment and elegance without becoming fragile.
A little naval discipline, softened by considerably more charm.
