The WRX Automatic Sunset belongs to an earlier mechanical chapter of RALF TECH, when the extraordinary 47.5mm WRX architecture was still establishing the identity that would eventually define the brand.
Its 316L steel case receives a satin rose-gold PVD treatment, surrounding a 95% matte-black dial and matching rose-gold-toned hands. The contrast gives this enormous professional instrument a warmth rarely associated with a serious diving watch.
Inside is the Swiss RTA002 automatic movement, offering up to 44 hours of power reserve. A 5.9mm curved sapphire crystal, protected screw-down crown, ceramic diving bezel and 500 metres / 1,650 feet of water resistance ensure the elegance never compromises the engineering.
A hand-sewn black Barenia calfskin strap is accompanied by a black silicone alternative.
Only 500 numbered pieces were produced, and surviving unworn examples now form part of RALF TECH's N.O.S. collection.
Why buy it?
Because the Sunset represents a side of the WRX we rarely see today.
