RALF TECH WRX HISTORIC Automatic Night 47mm
Before the WRX became available in countless special editions, there was something wonderfully pure about simply making it black.
The WRX Automatic Night is one of the most restrained expressions of RALF TECH’s historic professional diver.
Its imposing 47.5mm steel case is satin finished and treated with black PVD, surrounding a 95% matte-black dial with equally dark hands and a black ceramic diving bezel. The result is almost entirely monochromatic — serious, purposeful and unmistakably WRX.
Inside is the Swiss RTA002 automatic movement, offering up to 44 hours of power reserve, while a huge 5.9mm curved sapphire crystal, protected screw-down crown and professional 120-click bezel accompany an impressive 500 metres / 1,650 feet of water resistance.
A hand-sewn black Barenia calfskin strap gives the watch a touch of refinement, with a black silicone strap supplied for more demanding use.
Only 100 numbered examples were produced.
Today, RALF TECH includes the Night within its N.O.S. collection — old-collection watches that remain new, intact and unworn.
Why buy it?
Because one hundred pieces was a very small number even when the Night was new.
Years later, finding one in original, unworn condition is considerably more difficult.
And unlike many special editions, the Night does not rely on graphics, collaborations or unusual colours to establish its identity.
It is simply the historic WRX in black — rare, mechanical and increasingly difficult to encounter exactly as RALF TECH originally made it.
