RALF TECH WRX Electric Original 47mm
Before the special editions, the colours and the collaborations, there was the Original.
Designed in 2008 and developed with the assistance of combat swimmers from the French Navy's Commando Hubert, the WRX became a genuine professional diving instrument rather than simply a watch styled to look like one. RALF TECH states that the unit began using the WRX from 2010.
The Electric Original keeps that uncompromising architecture.
Its substantial 47.5mm 316L steel case receives a satin finish, surrounding a 95% matte-black sandwich dial with large C5 Super-LumiNova® markers and a luminous date display. The result is functional, highly legible and immediately recognisable as a WRX.
Above it sits an imposing 5.9mm curved sapphire crystal, while a protected screw-down crown, exclusive encapsulated caseback and unidirectional 120-click bezel reinforce its professional diving credentials.
Water resistance is a serious 500 metres / 1,650 feet.
Inside is the RTE001 Long Range Electric Micro Hybrid movement, developed in Switzerland specifically for RALF TECH. By reducing moving components and simplifying the quartz power system, it delivers exceptional reliability and autonomy of up to 100,000 hours — almost twelve years.
A black silicone strap is supplied as standard, together with a second black Zulu strap.
Production is restricted to 100 pieces per year.
