Inspired by a trip to an Icelandic watch manufactory, and fueled by a long-held dream, Bartosz Knop decided to create his own watch brand in his native Poland, BALTICUS. Despite the challenges, his determination, curiosity, and business experience led to the founding of Balticus in 2015. The brand's name and initial watch model, "Grey Seal," are inspired by Knop's deep connection to the Baltic Sea, his childhood home, and his love of travel. The core message is that Balticus watches embody the spirit of the Baltic Sea and the realization of dreams through perseverance
